Laguna Beach is #1 in My Top Ten Places for Engagement Sessions
Out of the pages of a J. Crew catalog shoot. That’s what Alison and David wanted for their engagement session. I think we pulled it off. We met in downtown Laguna Beach. Alison and David brought a couple changes of clothes with them and had their bikes in the back of Dave’s pick-up.
After shooting in downtown Laguna Beach, we headed over to Three Arch Bay, to a private beach for the second half of their engagement session. The Three Arch Bay beach is only accessible through the gated community or by sea and it is a hidden gem in Laguna Beach. It was the first time I’d been there. We literally had the beach to our selves. The funny thing was that I ran into a past client who’s wedding I’d photographed. It Was Chris Whitting (who’s wedding I’d photographed in Laguna Beach too) and he was taking his little girl for a walk on the beach.
I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding at the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace in Yorba Linda.
