A Visual Review of the Sony a7RII See Why the Sony a7RII Could be the Best Camera for You I’ve always believed in picking the best tool for the job.  Since selling all my Canon gear last January {and I had lots} I’ve slowly purchased many new tools.  To wit:  Sony a6000, Sony a7s, Sony a7II and recently […]

Awesome! Thanks Marc! I’ve been playing with mine the past few days. A frustration I have is how long it take to write to the card. I did just buy the fastest sd card I could find, so hopefully that will speed it up a little :)ReplyCancel

Troy, Hi buddy. I’m not finding to much buffer lag time with the a7RII unless I’m popping off a large number of sequential files. Yes, in this case faster is better. Cheers, M-ReplyCancel

Great and honest review. I am new to Sony, and I am loving the a7rii. I jumped in with the 16-35, 24-70, and 70-200 zooms and the amazing 55 1.8. I’m debating selling my Nikon gear still.. I know, let go of the past, and jump back to the future!!
My next purchase will be the 90 macro or the Batis85 when I make the full switch to mirrorless…ReplyCancel

Hi Bob, You’ll be amazed at the versatile use and files you’ll get using the 90mm f/2.8 Macro. I”ve ordered my 85mm 1.8 Batis a few months ago and am thinking of going with the 25mm Batis before the 85mm Batis. Happy shooting to you my friend.ReplyCancel

Are you teaching the Class at Samy’s tomorrow, Aug 4. Samy’s site doesn’t accept new students, but it doesn’t say whether the class is full or cancelled.

I’d like to attend, just couldn’t sign up until today (business commitments crowded my calendar, but they are now clear for tomorrow).

    I own an A6000.
