Guests are the heart of every wedding, and almost none of them are ever formally photographed. The Monochrome Guest Portrait Salon changes that.
"Guests are the one element of a wedding that's never formally photographed, and couples always wish they were."
It's the one thing missing from every luxury wedding, and the most memorable gift you can give your clients.
Guests are the one element of a wedding that's never formally photographed, and couples always wish they were. The Monochrome Guest Portrait Salon is a fixed two-hour portrait station that runs silently during cocktail hour. Shot on a Leica M11 Monochrom, a dedicated black-and-white camera that produces a tonal quality that simply cannot be replicated in post production.
"This isn't second shooting. It isn't coverage overlap.
It's a completely self-contained fine art experience that runs parallel to your work."
No catch. Just the simple numbers on the Monochrome Guest Portrait Salon.
Your couples already trust you with the most important day of their lives.
Give them something they will never forget.
Marc Weisberg is a Southern California-based photographer with over 25 years of experience and 750+ weddings photographed nationally and internationally. In 2014 he was selected as a Sony Artisan of Imagery, chosen among his peers for his technical mastery and artistic vision.
The Monochrome Guest Portrait Salon is shot exclusively on the Leica M11 Monochrom, a dedicated black-and-white camera that produces a tonal quality and fine art aesthetic that simply cannot be replicated in post-processing.
Marc operates as a completely separate and silent presence at your event. He does not roam, does not interact with your vendors, does not hand out cards, and has zero contact with the hired wedding photographer. Your event flow is never touched.

"Marc created a professional and warm environment that made me feel completely comfortable. He has a true eye for detail. My portraits came out wonderful and I highly recommend him."
Not at all. Marc operates a fixed portrait station during cocktail hour or early reception. He does not roam, does not interact with the wedding photographer, and has no overlap with their coverage whatsoever. The two experiences run completely in parallel.
Marc has photographed over 750 weddings and is trusted by some of the world's most recognized brands, including Sony, The Irvine Company, Bank of America, Westfield, Berkshire Hathaway, and Hyatt Hotels. His work has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Food & Wine, and Wine Spectator. He delivers on his promises, exceeds expectations, and consistently comes in before deadline.
No. While Marc photographed over 750 weddings throughout his career, he no longer takes on wedding photography. His focus today is exclusively on headshots, personal branding, and commercial photography. The one exception is his curated Monochrome Guest Portrait Salon project. You can engage Marc's services with complete confidence that he will never compete for your business.
You can introduce the Monochrome Guest Portrait Salon however you like, or say nothing at all. Marc is accustomed to operating without explanation and will never identify himself as anything other than what you've briefed. The language is entirely yours to frame.
Marc does not accept direct bookings from couples introduced through a planner relationship. Any inquiry that comes back to him is returned to you. Your referral is protected permanently, not just for the wedding it originated from.
Yes. Marc carries a two million dollar general liability policy and can provide a Certificate of Insurance to any venue upon request. He handles his own credentialing and venue approval process, so you will never be put in the position of managing that on his behalf.
Nothing. Marc handles his own setup, operates independently, and requires zero coordination from you on the day. You make the introduction once during the booking process and Marc takes it from there.
Your couple receives a private download link to their fine art portraits within 14 days of their wedding, delivered directly to them as high resolution jpegs.
Orange County weddings are $3,000. Los Angeles weddings are $4,000, reflecting the full-day commitment and travel. You receive a $500 referral fee for every booking that comes through your recommendation.
The Monochrome Guest Portrait Salon works best at weddings with 100 or more guests, where the couple is investing at a level that makes a fine art add-on feel natural.
Marc is only working with a select group of Southern California wedding and event professionals for this pilot. If you're interested, the time to reach out is now.
Marc invoices you directly. Full payment is due upon booking to secure your couple's date. Or he can interface directly with your couple. The choice is yours.
A complete portfolio review is available upon request and is part of the introductory call. Marc's wedding work spans some of the most distinguished venues and destinations in the world. The aesthetic speaks for itself.
