Food & Wine as Art: Before I was a Los Angeles | Orange County Food Photographer, I was a chef in some of the top restaurants in New York City. I also worked as a private chef for a billionaire on Park Avenue. After a career as a chef, I wrote award wining wine lists recognized by the Wine Spectator ™. I still love to cook and have what I like to call an intimate relationship with food. Nothing delights me more than pristine food, whether it be the raw product or the finished dish. Because I spent about fifteen years working in some of NYC ‘s top kitchens where both the restaurant and the clientele demanded that the utmost care be taken in the sourcing, handling and preparation of food, my approach to photographing food comes from a place of food & wine as art.
