Orange County Photojournalist Wedding Photographer
Weddings are beautifully controlled chaos. If you a bride reading this….you’re like what?! Let me tell you what I mean. As a seasoned wedding photographer, we know that anything can happen on the wedding day. And, camera in hand, we must be prepared for it. There’s no time to think, only react. If you’re thinking about things the moment is already gone. You have to know your equipment so well that its second nature, an extension of who you are. Kind of Ninja-Zen like . To be in wedding photojournalist mode you shoot first and ask questions later. Kinda like a bad cop. And I love this way of documenting a wedding day. I’ve even had a few clients over the years ask for 100% photojournalistic coverage. That being said, my style is a blend of photojournalism, amazing details, wonderful family moments and gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom.
When I first started out as a professional wedding photographer about 12 years ago, I was in awe of so many photographer’s and their talent. Truth be told I still am. So I’m humbled and greatly honored to be featured alongside of some the best wedding photographers in the business in my friend, Bill Hurter’s book , The Best of Wedding Photojournalism by Amherst Media. My photographs appear wherever you see a red star.
