Travel by road trip is one of my favorite things to do. Along with being able to stop anywhere along the way, picking fresh wild blackberries on the side of the road, its the adventure and unknowns and fresh sights, food and libation finds that make my road trip an adventure. Its the small towns that never make the guide books like Windsor, California.
Doesn’t matter whether its a fantastic coffee house, that makes a unique coffee drink in Humblot, California {just outside the Avenue of the Redwoods} that make a fabulous cup of espresso with a gorgeous crema, a dive bar along the highway, a seafood shack along the Oregon coast in Newport, Oregon or one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the United States at Adina a white table cloth Tapas restaurant in Portland. Its these small discoveries along the way the make the road trip memorable.
