Never, ever seen so many pristine roses in one spot in our lives. The air was thick with the scent of roses and it was visual sensory overload. There were pink, purple, red, candy cane striped, orange, white, yellow, every color of the rainbow roses in Portland’s free to visit International Rose Test Garden. Which incidently is located adjacent to one of the largest and most pristine Japanese Gardens we’ve ever seen.
